PLEASE REMEMBER
TO PRAY THE ROSARY EVERY DAY IN FEBRUARY
WITH YOUR FAMILIES, FOR OUR GOVERNMENT AND ELECTED OFFICIALS,
THE "RIGHT TO LIFE", PEACE IN UKRAINE, THE WAR IN ISRAEL & CONTINUED SUCESS OF OUR PRESIDENT FOR WORLD PEACE.

* "
At the start of May, Pope Francis launched a rosary marathon, encouraging the faithful everywhere to pray it every day for an end to the pandemic. As Knights of Columbus, we turn always to the gentle and glorious Virgin Mary, our Queen and our Mother.
Under the mantle of her protection, we take up her rosary."
*Knightline Volume 39, Number 21, 5/25/21

Picture
Immaculate Heart of Mary.
"O Mary conceived without Sin, Pray for us who have recourse to Thee."
Let us Pray for each other and all the Graces and Assistance/s available from our Holy Mother.
Let us remember, we cannot "see" the pain and sufferings in others.
Our "eyes" do not tell us the truth! We all cary our own crosses in some form!

That we should strive to be "True Men of God". - Love, Compassion, Understanding, Sympathy, Assistance, Forgiveness.

NOTICE, BROTHER KNIGHTS!
A FASCINATING INSIGHT!

An Act of Forgiveness
Note: Forgiveness does not mean that what the person did to harm someone was okay.
It also does not mean the one hurt should have “warm feelings” about the other person.
Rather, it is an
act of the will to let go of the hurt and to will the good of the other.
This is important.
Demons feed off unforgiveness.
Moreover, unforgiveness can dysfunctionally bond the person to the

abuser and the one harmed can remain a perpetual victim,
under the control of the
 abuser.
Forgiveness allows the person to let go of the person who caused the harm,
to be open
to God’s healing, and to be set free.

Remember our Motto?
"In Service to One (Our Lord Jesus) ... In Service to All (of Mankind)"
Through our Degrees of the order
CHARITY, UNITY, FRATERNITY AND PATRIOTISM

Brothers please remember - Although we are just a
small part of the Knights of Columbus,
we can be a major help in our Service to Our Parish, Our School and Our fellow Parishioners!

Remember - "Your help" is why we are able to be successful!
Each Man is needed! You are ALL a VERY IMPORTANT PART OF OUR TEAM!
YOU - make our work successful !

Charity comes in several forms - money, time, labor, leadership, prayer, service, love, etc.
"I give you a New Commandment: Love one another. As I have Loved You, so you also should Love one another. "  John 14:34
Tempus Fugit! Memento Mori!
Picture
Brothers, I offer a prayer here to help us more closely follow Our Lord Jesus.
Lord, You invite all who are burdened to come to you. Allow Your healing Hand to heal us.
Touch our souls with Your compassion for others; touch our hearts with Your courage and infinite Love for all; touch our minds with Your Wisdom, and may our mouths always proclaim Your praise!
Teach us to reach out to You in all our needs, and help us to lead others to You, by our example.
Most loving Heart of Jesus, bring us health in body and spirit that We may serve You with all our strength!
Touch gently this life, which you have created, now and forever.
Amen.

"I give you a New Commandment: Love one another. As I have Loved You, so you also should Love one another. "

First degree

Charity
First Degree - Charity
Our Catholic faith teaches us to “Love thy neighbor as thyself.” Members of the Knights of Columbus show love for their neighbors by conducting food drives and donating the food to local soup kitchens and food pantries, by volunteering at Special Olympics, and by supporting, both spiritually and materially, mothers who choose life for their babies. Knights recognize that our mission, and our faith in God, compels us to action. There is no better way to experience love and compassion than by helping those in need, a call we answer every day.

second degree

Unity
Second Degree – Unity
None of us is as good as all of us. Members of the Knights of Columbus all know that – together – we can accomplish far more than any of us could individually. So we stick together...we support one another. That doesn’t mean that we always agree or that there is never a difference of opinion. It does mean that – as a Knight of Columbus – you can count on the support and encouragement of your brother Knights as you work to make life better in your parish and community.

third degree

Fraternity
Third Degree - Fraternity
The Venerable Michael J. McGivney founded the Knights of Columbus, in large part, to provide assistance to the widows and children left behind when the family breadwinner died – often prematurely. The Order’s top-rated insurance program continues to do this today, as do individual Knights, who last year gave more than 10 million hours of their time to assist sick and/or disabled members and their families. In the Knights of Columbus, we watch out for and take care of one another.
